Allison Cara Tolman is an American actress from America. The actress was nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes in her role of Molly Solverson on the FX show Fargo's debut season. Tolman was raised with two older siblings and one younger. As a couple of months older, her family moved to England where they stayed for about four years. After spending five years in Oklahoma, she relocated to Sugar Land. At the Fort Bend Community Theatre, she started taking acting classes at age 10. Clements High School is where she went to school and she graduated in 2000. Baylor University awarded her a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in theatre performances. In Dallas when she graduated from the college level, she was one of the founders of Second Thought Theatre. Following her move to Chicago to attend The Second City Training Center, Tolman moved back to Illinois for her final year of studies in the year 2009. Tolman became famous in 2014 as Tolman made an appearance on FX's Fargo. Fargo is an original 1996 Coen Brothers film, starred Billy Bob Thornton (as Molly Solverson), Martin Freeman (as Bob Odenkirk) and Bob Odenkirk. Tolman has received praises for her performance in the role of Minnesota Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair declared that Tolman was "calmly sure of taking over the whole production". For her role, she received the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes.
